Tin foil boats

Tim Francisco paddles the aluminum foil, wood lath and duct tape boat he and his team made in the Intro to engineering design class at the Virginia High School. Each team was given one roll of duct tape, two small rolls of tin foil, 20 glue sticks and a bundle of wood lath in which to build a boat that would float and support at least one student.
