Cynthia (Cindy) Lee Moore died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012.

She was born Feb. 13, 1957, to Wilbur and Patricia (Welch) Moore of Eveleth.

A 1975 graduate of Eveleth High School, Cindy attended Eveleth Vocational School, where she completed the LPN course of study and passed her boards to become a licensed practical nurse. Her deep love of nursing moved her to begin college at age 28, where she excelled in her courses at Mesabi Community College. She was awarded a scholarship to attend the College of St. Scholastica where she graduated with honors, earning her bachelor of arts degree in nursing.

Water was one of the loves of Cindy’s life… to be near it, on it or in it were all things she enjoyed. A talented violinist and ballet dancer, she was also an accomplished camper and loved to fish. Her numerous trips to Mexico fed her interest in travel, language, and the many delights of meeting people from a culture other than her own. Cindy was a great friend to animals, whether it be a bird with a broken wing, her cats or her beloved dog, Julio the Pomeranian.

Deeply loved and dearly missed, Cindy is survived by her daughters, Jessica (Bob) Mesich of Gilbert and Kelsey Fraboni of Eveleth; granddaughter, Natalie Mesich; mother, Patricia Moore of Eveleth; sister, Kathleen (Lynn Swanberg) Moore of Eagan; former husband, Ray Fraboni Jr. of Eveleth; nieces, Erin (Abe) O’Rourke of St. Cloud and Sarah (Adam Guerry) Moore of Phoenix, Ariz.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wilbur Moore; brother, Tim Moore; grandparents, Jack and Milly Welch, Mabel and Melvin Moore and her first husband, Jack Hall.
