Brian Charles Vilbrandt, 47, a longtime resident of Virginia and formerly of New Jersey and Florida, died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014, in St. Raphael’s Health and Rehabilitation Center in Eveleth.
He was born Feb. 6, 1967, in Heidelberg, Germany, the son of Richard Vilbrandt and Regina Cooper. He graduated from Bordertown High School in Bordertown, N.J.
Brian was the owner and operator of Deli-icious in Virginia for the past 13 years. He attended Holy Spirit Catholic Church and the Cornerstone Family Church. He enjoyed spending time with his daughters, motorcycle riding and lying on the beach.
Brian is survived by his wife, Isabele of Brazil; two daughters, Amanda and Brianna Vilbrandt of Virginia; his brother, Matthew (Victoria) Vilbrandt of Kansas City, Kan.; his sister, Carmen (Sam) Cathey of Thornton, Colo.; his mother, Regina (Barton) Cooper of Texas; his father, Richard (Nancy) Vilbrandt of Florida; his maternal grandmother, Felicitas Hirsch of Germany; and his former wife, Melanie Smith of Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Diana Vilbrandt; paternal grandparents, Hazel and Paul Vilbrandt; and maternal grandfather, Karl Heinz Hirsch.
