Mary Alice Rogers, 69, of Winton died at home Monday, July 9, 2012.
Mary was born in Minneapolis, Minn. Aug. 22, 1942. She spent most of her life there with a brief stint in Ohio. Along her life’s journey she met numerous people whose lives were forever changed by her strong, bubbly, vibrant personality. She loved everyone unconditionally and taught us that love is not only a word but an action, and that life is a gift given by God and to enjoy the world around you.
She is survived by the loves of her life, her children, Robert (Jane), Sheila (Neil) and Nancy (Gene); her grandchildren, Stephanie, Emma, Jessica (Zach), John (Tracey), Austin, Ashton, Kyle, Sarah, Lisa and Geno; great-grandchildren, Jeffrey, Hailey and Domonic; a sister, Carroll; and brothers, Jimmy and Richard.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Norma; her brother, Charles Morgan; sister, Teresa Durant; and sons, Gary Pikala Jr. and Jeffrey Crane.
Funeral 2 p.m. Saturday, July 14, 2012, at Kerntz Funeral Home. A luncheon will follow at the Veterans on the Lake Resort.
