IRONWOOD, Mich. – Eddarie Hibbler led all scorers with 24 Saturday night as Vermilion opened the Gogebic Tournament with a 79-67 win over the host Samsons.

The sport fishing population is pushing for the opportunity to land trophy predator fish in Minnesota — namely muskellunge and northern pike — and there is a debate brewing about what the introduction or promotion of such a top-of-the-food-chain type fish might mean to those who simply want to “catch and eat.”

NHL changes good for fans
