Schaefbauer Bench Press Championships

VIRGINIA — The 24th Annual Schaefbauer Bench Press Championships were held April 27 at the Mesabi Range College in Virginia. Twenty-five lifters participated in the power-lifting event. Getting the best lifter by formula, female, was Chelsea Trucano of Mountain Iron with a lift of 185 pounds. Best lifter by formula, male, was Tony Scheldrup of Grand Rapids with a lift of 280 pounds.
