WARBA — The Virginia Babe Ruth baseball team picked up a decisive win Wednesday afternoon, defeating Warba on the road, 14-4.

John Kendall started on the hill and gave up two earned runs on three hits over five and 1/3 innings. He fanned 11 along the way.

Zane Lokken closed out the contest, recording the final five outs for Virginia.

At the plate, leadoff hitter Lokken scored three runs with Dylan Hedley scoring from second base on a passed ball to help Virginia break the game open with a five run third inning. Kendall lead the team with a pair of hits and three RBIs.

Virginia Babe Ruth (3-2) will host Hibbing-2 on Wednesday at Stock Field beginning at 5 p.m.
